    1. Hint: don’t use any of them

You’ll be smarter. Thank you for coming to my TED talk

      >ChatGPT uninstalls

And yet they will probably use it anyway on the browser because they will think that is a different “app”.

    3. I’ve switched to Mistrals “Le chat”. It’s quite good and it only tells me every so often to give some billionaires the royal French treatment.

    4. Me: never used AI tools in my life.

Daily reminder that your ancestors could solve your same problems without AI 20 years ago.

What are we doing now? I use Chat GPT and Grok for everything. There’s a better alternative, now?

This means nothing, Claude exploded, AI hasn’t declined, the user base just moved, we’re still losing.

That is a shitty statistic. If uninstalls were 5 per day, and they went to 20, that is a 300% increase in uninstalls. But also a tiny number of uninstalls.

How many people were uninstalling ChatGPT before the deal?

Are these ChatGPT uninstalls coming with a loss of subscriptions? Im not familiar with it enough. But I almost guarantee the deal theyre making with the DoD is insanely more lucrative than any loss of subscription revenue could hope to put a dent in. Just dont use any of them as an intellectual crutch.

kinda confusing w/ no context but i’m intrigued lol. could you drop some more details or is this all we get. lol

Oh, okay, that would at least help explain why Claude has been down so much lately.

AI can’t even correctly identify the terrestrial wind speed record, idk why y’all even bother with that shit.

The companies don’t care about usage. They aren’t even profiting from users. They’re burning investor money and getting subsidised, not paying taxes, electricity and utility bills.

The cynical part of me wants to point out how they were burning money with their free model, and that this contract likely brings in more money then they loose from people canceling their subscriptions, as well as opening the door for more collaborations in the future.
